| How do I get started? | |
| You must first determine your particular skin type. Skin classifications include the following types: Environmentally Damaged, Hyperpigmented, Hypersensitive, Acne-Prone, Active Acne and Normal. Based on your result, you will be instructed on how to properly care for your skin with the BioMedic® Home Treatment Program. The BioMedic® Products are especially formulated for each particular skin type. Most importantly, the products are simple, easy to use, and very affordable. | |

| How much does the BioMedic® Program cost? | |
| The BioMedic® Home Treatment Program is very affordable. The Home Treatment Kit is $150-$200 depending on your skin type. The cleanser and conditioner will last two to three months. The gels, creams, and sunblocks will last four to six months. The MicroPeel® will vary in price depending on the different areas of your face and body that you may treat. | |

| Is there any discomfort when using products containing acids? | |
| No real discomfort, however some people may feel a mild tingle for a few seconds when the products are first applied. | |

| Does the sun screen come off in the water? | |
| Although they are considered not water soluble, all sun screens need to be reapplied several times each day if you are swimming or are in and out of the water. | |

| Do any of the Biomedic® products harm fabrics? | |
| We are not aware of any fabric damage from any of the products. | |
| What causes sun damage to the skin? | |
| It is mostly damage from the ultra violet light, sometimes referred to as UV, UVA, and UVB. This may be manifest as thinning of the skin [atrophy], pigment changes [blotchy or patchy pigmentation], visible or broken blood vessels. Dry skin with fine line wrinkles are also signs of sun damaged skin. | |
| What can I do to prevent zits? | |
| Zits are referred to here as acne or pimples, and can usually be successfully treated with the acne treatment products. A good way to start is with the acne kit. You can add other products as needed. | |
| Are the acids in these products strong acids? | |
| No, these acids are commonly referred to as fruit acids[they occur naturally in fresh fruit]. Some of the fruit acids are: glycolic, lactic, folic, citric, malic, etc. They are grouped as alpha hydroxy[AHA] and beta hydroxy acids[BHA]. | |
| What do antioxidants do? | |
| They help stop and prevent the aging process. Some of the important ones for the skin are citric, ascorbic[vitiminC], beta carotene[vitiminA], tocopherol[vitiminE], and panthenol[vitiminB5]. | |
| Can age spots be helped? | |
| Yes, the problem lies in the deep layers of the skin but exfoliation will usually greatly help this problem. | |

| Can wrinkles be helped? | |
| Yes, the Biomedic® products can remove many layers of dead skin, cause the skin to retain moisture and also stimulate collagen production in the dermis. This effect is most noticeable in the fine line and crepe type wrinkles. | |

| I have dark spots on my cheeks and would like to get rid of them. What do you recommend? | |
| Dark spots on the cheeks may be caused by birth control pills , by being pregnant, or by excessive sun exposure. Treatment would include: trying new birth control pills, limiting sun enposure and using products that contain kojic acid and hydroquinone. Two products would be Conditioning Gel and Conditioning Gel Plus, with Conditioning Gel Plus being the most potent. | |
