It is essential that you know your skin type to be able to select the correct Biomedic/La Roche Posay skin care products . If you don't already know your skin type then look to the right at the list above, read about each type, select what fits your skin, then choose from the list on the left, your skin type, for a great display of products for you.

If your type is dry a good choice would be Biomedic Gentle Moisturizing Lotion or La Roche Posay Hydraphase Facial Moisturizer , which provides long lasting hydration. For the more severely dry skin we suggest Biomedic Extra Rich Moisturizer or maybe La Roche Posay Lipikar Balm , with its soothing protective barrier.

Normal skin type is what everyone wants, but it requires daily care and maintainence, using a quality cleanser like the extremely popular Biomedic Purifying Cleanser or La Roche Posay Hydraphase Milk , that allows you to remove makeup without rubbing.

Sensitive skin is usually also somewhat dry so many of the dry skin products also work well here, but we have some special "goodies" for you, like La Roche Posay Rosaliac Micellar Makeup Remover , that is formulated for sensitive skin that is prone to redness . It also works well for those with allergies and rosacea . Another great product for sensitive red skin is Rosaliac Anti-Redness Moisturizer , with its green tint designed to neutralize the redness of sensitive or rosacea skin.

Oily and acne skin can now be treated very successfully with our Active Acne Skin Kit , which is made up of, Antibac Acne Wash , Conditioning solution , Effaclar K Acne Treatment Fluid , Effaclar Active Matt Moisturizer and Facial Shield spf 20. All are formulated to control excess oil , clean plugged pores , reduce blackheads , control breakouts , improve skin texture and control shine . We also recommend that you try to reduce stress, pollution (including smoking), fatigue, sunburn and unsuitable cosmetics.

Environmentally damaged skin is caused from "too much" exposure to sun , wind , pollution , chemicals , h ydrocarbons , radiation , burns and many more things that we come in contact during our life. It is prudent for us to prevent further damage by using sun block daily, such as, Anthelios 40 with Mexoryl or Biomedic Facial Shield spf 30 . Cicaplast with its silicone texture dressing effect can be a great help in skin protection and allowing damaged skin to heal. Helping to reverse some of these damages is paramount and La Roche Posay has given us several excellent products, such as, anti-oxidants , like Active C facial skin care , Active C Eyes and Biomedic has added, Potent-C Concentrate , Collagenist Powder (Vitamin C ), and C-Recovery Treatment .
